I was first exposed to a CrossFit class approximately four months ago. Initially, I have to admit that I was a bit hesitant and slightly intimidated. This style of fitness was foreign to me. It was unlike anything I had ever been exposed to before.  I also have to admit that it did not take very long for me to become completely hooked!   

I thought I was in relatively good shape before I began the program...I was mistaken! I have never been as physically or mentally challenged with an exercise program before. CrossFit is unlike any other conditioning program. Through the workouts I began to realize that although I excelled in certain areas, I was weaker in others. Since I began, I have been striving for a more overall balanced level of fitness.   

Training with Max at CrossFit has been such a rewarding experience for me. He has been able to see and bring out in me the inner competitor that I did not know even existed. He has pushed me outside of my comfort zone...above and beyond that which I felt I was capable of. He really is a knowledgeable, wonderful motivator. He sincerely believes in each one of his clients. Thus, he is able to provide us with the skills necessary to achieve our desired goals.  

I have seen such a difference in myself on many levels since beginning this program. My results are undeniable. My overall fitness has definately improved. I am also stronger mentally with an overall improved outlook. Now, I look forward with anticipation to the CrossFit workouts. I love the challenges and variety that each workout brings. We all work very hard here, but we also have alot of fun.  I love the competitive spirit of the members. There is a great sense of community within the gym walls.  

Moving forward, I will confidently strive for continued improvements in all areas of fitness. I will push myself to do better and be better each and every day. I have no doubt that I can set and achieve my desired goals thanks to Max and an unparalled program here at CrossFit.

From doing nothing to walking to kickboxing here I’m doing CrossFit training. I’m 46 years old and really I feel better that when I was in my twenties. One day,  three years ago I asked God to help me to get fit - I wrote it down.  I was tired of being weak and very close to going to a plastic surgeon to remove my fat. (I could not even carry my own luggage when I traveled what a hassle!

Then, the desire to lead a healthier life and be physically active just grew. I started with kickboxing and hated it the first month it was hard work, after a month I loved it!. I continued to do it until it became a habit.

I knew it was time to move up to something more challenging. I got introduced to CrossFit. I did not know if I would stay with it. But here again I asked for it and I love the program. 

Cross fit has been the most valuable investment in my only body and the only that I have in this life time.  I want to thank Max for his dedication working with me, work ethics, for looking after that we all do  the right technique and for his confidence in all of us.
